Hi 99999,

I can connect to my WPA2 network flawlessly with AR5007 now. Your search paid off because those links solved the problem!

The driver I downloaded (sp48070.exe): http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-82549-1&cc=mx&lc=es&dlc=es According to Device Manager, the driver's version 7.7.0.396.

Thank-you so much for your reply! I will give you credit when I update my blog with your solution.

Hey, I'm helping out a roomate of mine with her wireless problem. We have a dd-wrt Linksys E2000 with 10 computers successfully connected but she has an HP with the AR5007 wireless adapter and can't connect to the WPA2 network (which I use, because, like you said, WPA is pretty easy to crack).

Once I saw that her card was an Atheros I instantly thought that that would be the problem because I have a Zotac Mag HD with a non-functional/defective (seems to be a widespread problem) Atheros card, which makes me think that Atheros is a pretty terrible company.

Anyways, after searching for an update to the wireless driver for about an hour (/rant what a wasteland searching for Windows drivers, using Ubuntu, I've had my share of problems and I've hacked solutions that have occasionally broken my system, but I've never entered into the shady-ass netherworld of Windows drivers before. Isn't is the vendors the vendors job to supply working drivers instead of having to go to suspect third-party sites? I hate Windows more everyday /end rant). I found this that you might want to check out http://h10010.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/searchResults?tmp_product=HP+G62-a12SO+Notebook+PC&tmp_qt=ar5007&lc=es&dlc=es&cc=mx
for 2010 versions of the Atheros drivers or here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-80582-1&cc=mx&lc=es&dlc=es
, if like me, you need only the Vista drivers.

Hope that helps, I also found http://www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-download.php?chipset=21&system=4 but I can't bring myself to trust that site although it might very well be on the up and up.

not sure if this is even being watched anymore but ran into some trouble on the last step and looking for some help.

When I went to do the phpbb to bbpress I got an error saying I had a syntax issue on XX line of the database.

I went back and tried redoing things and got a new error saying I had a duplicate entry.

If someone is checking this out and can help I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks.

Yes, you can wrap it with div tags:

<div align="center">
<!-- INCLUDE googleads.html -->
</div>
